Dr. Dugoni has been an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the Mixed Dentition Clinic in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics for over 25 years.

Dr. Dugoni is a published author of articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the Journal of the California Dental Association, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists Bulletin. He has lectured on orthodontic care both locally and nationally.
Dr. Dugoni and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Emily and Patrick. Dr. Dugoni enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf with his father.

Our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Our Registered Dental Assistants include: Cheryl Frelin, R.D.A., Jamie Chappell, R.D.A., and Jen Nations, R.D.A. All three women graduated from the College of San Mateo Dental Assistant Program. Between the three of them, Cheryl, Jamie and Jen have over 40 years of dental assisting experience. They will work closely with you throughout the duration of your orthodontic treatment.
Tricia is our financial coordinator with over 10 years of experience. She manages financial arrangements and insurance procedures. Please contact Tricia if you have any questions regarding your account
Karen is our appointment coordinator who will greet you when you arrive at our office. She will assist you with your scheduling needs. Please contact Karen if you need to make, change or cancel your appointment. In her spare time Karen likes to spend time with her son, Kalix.
Jackie is our "Behind the Scenes" Administrative coordinator. Although you may not see her very often, Jackie is a very important member of our team. Jackie assists in answering phones and scheduling appointments. Jackie will also be sending correspondence to our patients, parents and referring dentists.

I want to thank Dr. Dugoni for a gorgeous smile I thought I’d never have! For years I wanted to get my teeth straightened, but thought I was far too old. Plus, as an adult, you hear many horror stories about the pain of an adjustment, etc. My co-worker edged me on. She is just a few years younger than I am, and she somehow talked me into it.
Well, 2 ½ years later, with a lot of support from Dr. Dugoni and the staff to “hang in there, you are almost done!” I got nice surprise last week when my braces would come out sooner than expected. I now have a gorgeous smile and I can’t wait to eat what I’ve not had the chance to eat in 2 ½ years: eat a nice piece of steak and be able to chew on both sides of my mouth!
Ela, she took her senior pictures the other day; she smiled in all of her pictures and they look so nice. The guy who was taking the pictures said Ela lets take a few with no smile, and after 3 shots, he said no Ela lets start smiling again you have great set of teeth and a wonderful smile.

However, it is worth the drive to see Dr. Dugoni no matter what schedule constraints I may have, not only because he has a phenomenal reputation, but he and his staff accommodate their patients in every aspect. They are first rate. I am always taken right away and it is a rare that I ever have to wait longer than 5 minutes. The office has flat-screen TV's to watch while you sit in the chair. They record everything that they do on laptops, so that they're sure what has been done on any given day. Whether they are confirming my appointments, adjusting my braces or scheduling out my payments, I am always treated like I am their first priority. E-mail is one of my primary sources of communication, and they are fantastic about sending electronic appointment reminders and holiday greetings. Best of all, it takes just a click of a button to send a quick note of thanks, change an appointment or inquire about your bill. In regard to billing, they make it a practice to go over all the costs involved and work out a payment plan that works for their patients. I was pleased to find this out when I needed braces in 2007. Last but not least, my braces are now off, and I love my smile more than ever.

Not only was I satisfied but my daughter and son have had a wonderful experience as well. The staff is absolutely amazing; they actually show concern and treat us like family.
My kids actually don’t mind going to the orthodontist. The practice really has grown with time.
